Laura Luchtman and Ilfa Siebenhaar investigated in sustainable alternatives to colour textiles and joined forces for this project Living Colour,

an ongoing biodesign research project exploring the possibilities of sustainable textile dyeing with live bacteria and cymatic (sound) frequencies.

For our event Colour Materialized we asked Laura and Ilfa to present their work. An intriguing process that invites for more explorations (also for other materials than textiles) and off course applications!
